Support our local community by adopting or fostering locally, or donating time or funds.

Before adopting, research what breeds might be the best for you and your household. Consider activity level, breed size, kids and other animals in the household. Follow local organizations on Facebook and Instagram to keep up-to-date on events and animals available.

Nothing beats seeing and feeling what dog or cat you connect with in-person. Some pets are fostered outside of the facility, so if you’re interested, let LHS know so they can arrange to have the pet in-house for your visit.
