Explore Cherry Blossoms Locally in Northern New Jersey

As you see the Cherry blossoms bloom in the neighborhood yards, you start thinking about weekend friends and family trips to famous Cherry blossom trails. But then you wonder about the hike and need to plan a full-day excursion, and in the end, you procrastinate until next year.  For North Jerseyans we have several nearby options in the short driving distance range.

Cherry Blossom Park at River Edge Park: Enjoy a variety of shops, flowers as well as lovely cherry blossoms at this old-fashioned neighborhood retreat.

Davis Johnson Park & Gardens at Tenafly Park: It has a serene rose garden, a sunken garden and plenty of flowering trees that blossom in the spring season.

Overpeck County Park: Visit the Leonia & Ridgefield Park sections of the park to check out the rows of cherry blossoms blooming now.

Pascack Brook County Park: Experience the picturesque and beautiful tree-lined path before you reach the pond.

Saddle River County Park: Known for its running, jogging, and walking trail, the park has many blooming cherry blossoms and other trees and flowers to see along the path from Ridgewood to Saddle Brook.

Van Saun County Park: Van Saun is not only a popular spot for families to hang out for Zoo and other events, but it also has some very photogenic cherry blossoms towards the Washington Spring Garden section.

Van Neste Square: There are plenty of cherry blossoms along the walkways in this nice little ridgewood park.
