Get moving for good health! Jersey City has one of the highest rates of asthma prevalence in Hudson County. SJC, the City of Jersey City, and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency have recently partnered in an effort to study and ultimately recommend solutions for bettering local air quality and its impact on local residents.

In support of this effort, this National Healthy Lung Month, SJC and CityTri are hosting the JC Green Half Marathon, 10K, 5K and 1 Mile Community Walk / Run on October 1, 2023. This is an annual event held on the first weekend of October that brings hundreds of participants from Jersey City and the region to Lincoln Park, Jersey City.
