Pandemic Breeds Boom in Woman-Owned Wellness Businesses

When the pandemic first hit in 2020, a lot of businesses were forced to shutter. Many Hudson County neighborhoods said goodbye to some of their favorite mom-and-pop storefronts. But with those vacancies came an opportunity for new dreams and communities to build. The towns of Hoboken and Jersey City, in particular, saw a boom in women opening businesses focused on wellness. Here’s a list of these businesses born during the pandemic.*

In Hoboken:
