Om Sweet Home Hosts FriendsGiving Pop-Up
Om Sweet Home Specialty Bakery, which became a pop-up after closing its physical location in July, will host a vegan and gluten-free Friendsgiving Dinner from 7 to 10 p.m. on November 13, at bwè kafe’s Northend location in Hoboken.
The plan is for a four-course communal dinner under the stars. The dinner will be moved inside bwè kafe if the weather is inclement. The event is BYOB: one bottle of wine per two guests. The menu will include paté; cauliflower soup; fall salad; harvest roast with mushroom gravy; apple, sage and cornbread dressing; roasted sweet potato wedges; string beans; cranberry relish; caramel apple tart; and vanilla bean ice cream. Allergens tentatively include coconut, walnut, pecan, chestnut, apricot, pumpkin seeds (final list will be communicated the day of the event).
Ticket sales will end seven days prior to the event. Guests are asked to arrive by 6:45 p.m. and show their tickets to confirm their reservation. Tickets will be fully refunded if the minimum of 10 have not been purchased. All guests are asked to provide a recent negative Covid test regardless of vaccination status.
